I finally got one! WRK that is.

What a great find Ken. I look at CL all the time I hopes of finding a diamond but so far nothing. Can't wait to see some posts with your new toy!

Good God, what a grill.

Never seen one that size before until of late.

Is it intended for wood only?

Judging by its size and the price you paid, I think you scored big time.

Congratulations.

Thanks everyone. I was busy all weekend and only had a little bit of time to dedicate to the Ranch Kettle. I did start a fire, to heat up the grate, brush it real good and the oil it up. While I had heat I figured I should cook something. My daughter wanted hotdogs so I threw a couple dogs on for her, a couple chicken breasts, veggies and some beans. I think the RK was a little over kill but still got to use it.

I honestly hope everyone gets a chance to own/use one of these beasts. I lit one chimney full of KBB and was very surprised at how well the heat was distributed throughout the grill. I cant wait to get this thing all cleaned up to start getting it dirty again with some real cooks.

After doing some research, I'm not surprised considering how the grill is made of aluminum. Aluminum is a good heat conductor.

The Ranch makes my 26.75" look small, and my 26.75" isn't small! Nice catch, you'll love the extra room. One thing I really like about my 26.75" is I can use the rotisserie with the cooking grate still installed and have room for potatoes and veggies while rotisserie cooking at the same time. You'll have room for that in spades- if you can find a rotisserie ring for it!

I really wanted to find a 26.75 but nobody wants to give those up. I told myself no more grills until the move is over except if I find a good deal on a 26 or a Ranch. I dont know if they make a roti ring for the Ranch but if they do; I sure want one.

Moving is never fun! And to top it off, we are moving on the 1st but the wife wants to have a Halloween party on the 31st. Everything is packed and the house is a mess but I agreed to it so I can cook for 30 people on the Ranch Kettle. A little nuts but anything to use the new grill.
