I think you can mount the propane scale on the outside of the cabinet as well. You would just need to do something to keep the tank from rubbing on the side of the grill.

That would be a great idea. Did not even occur to me for some reason. That would open up a lot of storage on the inside of the cabinet.

That is how the previous generation Silver B's were made.



I think you can simply move the tank holder/scale to the outside and then reverse the vinyl bumpers to the outside as well.
