a local butcher shop supplied me today with hanger steak at $9.99 per pound, 4 bucks less than my last outlet.
seasoned with Penzey's Chicago Steak Seasoning and fresh ground black pepper
mini Yukons got a head start on the Weber...
then the hanger swung around
a few minutes on all sides...
and they're done.
served with sautéed red cabbage and sweet onions with gaaaalic.
the hanger steak is a wonderfully tender cut of beef, if you find it available in your area, buy it!
