It seems like anything even remotely food-related is ripe for this. Science and technology are great but the producing and preparing of food are incredibly steeped in tradition.

Although I'd be willing to bet that if someone could go back in time a few generations and show the progenitors of today's time and labor-intensive historic processes some modern shortcuts they'd be tickled pink!
