Myself along with surely many others enjoy using the Rustoleum High Heat Ultra paint for cookbox exteriors and lid end caps.
I was randomly perusing reviews and came across this response from the manufacturer:

Is it common knowledge for most around here that the paint is supposed to be heated above 450 degrees for an hour to cure it?
I’ve bid farewell to a couple refurbs now that I haven’t given an hour’s worth of propane to, and wonder if a summer rain washed away my hard work.
Does anyone actually do this, or have any first hand experience with the paint failing before being “fully cured”?
Sure enough, on the label of the Ultra says exactly that (for temps that will reach over 500):

Curiously though, that requirement is not in the label for the non-Ultra version of the paint:
