Hi All

Just picked up a 57cm WSM. Brought it used but the owner only had it 3 months and used it twice. It's immaculate.
I've had a Pro Q Frontier for nearly 2 years which was my starter smoker but thought it was time to upgrade.
I'm going to have a burn out on it as the seller said he'd cleaned it out, he said he worked for Weber so hopefully didn't use any cleaning fluids inside it. Will do a burn just in case.
Hopefully pick up a few hints and tips off here.

Cheers all
Mark

Hi

Thank you for the welcomes.

I did a burn last night, had a load of small lumpwood charcoal bits in the bottom of my charcoal bin and some new briquettes, had about a half chimney of unlit coals and a chimney of lit coals on top, went for hours so happy with that.
Will be doing a cook next saturday for a xmas party we're having at home.

Sounds like a winner. Welcome aboard. I look fwd to seeing your creations.

Great to see more and more Brits (Tony, Chris, etc) as well as international members (Enrico, Gier, Wolgast, ect). The cooks outside "traditional US BBQ" are very interesting for me and I am sure others.

I am very jealous of the great Weber equip you folks can get that we can't here in the US.
