Well, I've been a Weber fan for a good long while -- bought a Performer in 2001, and have used it to grill and smoke for years. Way back in the day, I bought a cheap bullet smoker, and while it worked ok, it didn't hold heat well and wasn't too easy to use.

So, looking to get back into smoking in something other than a Weber kettle, I went and bought a WSM last week. My first cook will be tomorrow -- chicken and ribs.

Here we go! :wsm:

Welcome aboard Larry. Congrats on that WSM. You are going to love how easy it is to use. This is a great place to learn and to share. Don't forget to post pics of your cooks. We love that here.
