Hey Rolf, All is good for us where we live now. But for the ones who live close to the river not so. The news reported yesterday that it's 3 million gallons not 1 million gallons of contaminated water that has been released.
Saw the river for the first time today as we don't live as close to it as we used to. It looks like it should, but it's very contaminated. You can see the orange goo on the banks.
There are lots of unhappy people with what happened last week. The Animas is closed to fishing, rafting, ect for at least a week.
