Yah, I have a battery powered Ridgid 1/4" impact and use it all the time on my grills. It is great at removing stuck/rusted bolts, especially the 5/16" screws holding the slide rails for the grease pans on the bottom of the cook box.
Bruce, I had a slide rail 5/16" screw that just would not budge after many attempts. I saw your video on gently using an impact wrench but don't have one. I took my drill with torque settings, put it in reverse and slowly kept trying while slowly ramping up the torque. It worked! I had about given up and was going to just paint around the rail. This will make it a lot easier. I think it's the vibrations that help.Yah, I have a battery powered Ridgid 1/4" impact and use it all the time on my grills.
