HELP ! - I chipped my WSM

This weekend when I was cooking on the WSM I hit the side with the lid and chipped it. Is there something I can put on it to protect it so it doesn't rust. Any one else had to repair their smoker / grills before, if so how did you fix them? Any help would be appreciated.

Not saying this will work though. There is also heat resistant BBQ paint in the rattle can as well.

Ouch ! You know , I would go to sears or an appliance store or an appliance repair place. I know they make touch up paint for appliances and I bet they'd have black. I chipped my stove once and I got some enamel paint that matched pretty well....came in a small bottle with a little brush right in the cap like nail polish.

Doubt that appliance paint as noted would be heat resistant /high heat though.

I'd call Weber and get their opinion. They probably have something that works well.

I would let it be. In short time that will season with grease/gunk and you'll prolly not even notice it.
