HELP: How do I remove the doors on a Genesis E310

I finally got up the nerve to dig out my two E/W burner E310's for my next rehab project. It is defnitely going to be a combined project with parts from both grills to make one. Anyway, I can't figure out how to get the cabinet doors off. I am convinced there is some trick that doesn't require dissasembling the rest of the grill to do it, but I can't figure it out. I can't push the bottom pivot pin up to release it and the top one is basically inaccessible. So, let me in on the secret.

While I wait for the vast knowledge on this forum to flow forth, I will work on some of the other parts.
Checking back later,
Bruce

BTW: Have I ever mentioned that I just don't care for Weber cabinet style grills?

OK, scratch that. Once I got the SS side tables off, I could see the pivot pin and I just had to push down on it.

Yah, you dont have to take the stainless shelves off to do it. But it does give easier access.

Sorry I couldn’t reply earlier. I am finally starting to work on my inventory and have been grinding and painting all day!

I think that removing the side tables is one of the first steps in disassembling these grills. If you haven’t already, download the Weber assembly cartoon instructions. In reverse it makes for a good breakdown guide. They use different color bolts for upper and lower cabinet parts and the guide is good at keeping that straight as well as giving a good sequence.
