Hey everyone, I’m Greg.
I’ve been a Weber fan for almost 30 years. We have a 22” kettle, a new E-435, and a 30” Slate griddle. I purchased the 435 to replace my old trusty Silver C.
I’ve been lurking on the forums for a few days and decided to join up.
Lots of informative and very nice people here. Looking forward to learning and getting to know y’all.

Hey Kevin, are you near the Blanton’s distillery?
😋🥃
I’m about 1 hour away from Buffalo Trace, which is in Frankfort.

I’m going to be getting the SA-E 330 Indigo from ACE Hardware soon. Going to be replacing my Nexgrill that is rusting out. It’s got everything I want and more. Stainless Steel grates, griddle insert, storage area for griddle and no side burner (I never use it on my current grill).

Cool!
I want to do one of those tours there sometime next year.
I have an affinity for the Blanton’s. I hate that it’s so hard to find nowadays. (Around here anyway)
I’ve toured Buffalo Trace, Makers Mark, Jim Beam, Woodford Reserve, Wild Turkey and others. One I definitely recommend is Castle and Key. It’s the original Col. E. H. Taylor distillery and the architecture itself is worth the trip.

Blanton’s is hard to find anywhere. I’ve got a couple of bottles in my bar but I don’t hunt for it much anymore. There are plenty of good pours available for a lot less money.

Here’s a shot of my home bar.

What if someone wanted not whiskey to drink?
I can't see them all but looks like almost all whiskey's.......
You mean they actually have other things to drink besides bourbon and rye whiskey? 😲 If someone wanted something other than bourbon, which I shudder at the thought of that happening, then I usually keep around 50 bottles of wine handy and there is always some beer in the fridge.

I'm not a scotch fan so non of that, but there are a few bottles other than bourbon on my bar. Allspice Dram (for making Lion's Tails), Rivulet (pecan liquor for making my Derby Pie drink, bourbon, Rivulet, Butterscotch Schnapps & Chocolate Martini mix), the aforementioned Butterscotch Schnapps, Castle & Key Vodka. But yeah, most of the 200+ bottles are bourbon or rye.

Well I think your bar is cool.
I’d love to have a bar (and I don’t even drink) but I don’t have the room to properly have one.
Maybe when I finally do my man cave project.

I was a contractor once upon a time and I sold the heck out of removing bars and converting that area into study areas for kids.
The upper middle class older houses often had bars years ago.
Selling study area conversions was easy money.

Now that is a well-stocked bar!
Very nice!👍
