Hello from Roseburg Oregon. Jricks here and just wanted to say hi. Got an old Weber redhead yesterday. Excited to use it more and more. :redgenesis1: can someone tell me how to tell if it is a genesis or a spirit?
 
Welcome to the forum J. I don't know too much about the gas grills. We do have an old Genesis but my wife mainly uses it. You might look at this link. It's got tips for identifying Weber Gas Grills. If that doesn't work I'd recommend you just call Weber. They are very helpful. Maybe someone else more familiar with gas grills will post some advice as well.

Found out today it is a Spirit 700. Was hoping it was a Genesis, found out the one I used to have before I moved was a Genesis. Had to give it away as I had no room to move it. Any who, excited to use it but before, restore it.:redgenesis1:

Thank you, very sad for sure. To make it even more of a tangled mess I am a funeral director here trying to cope with the families during the most difficult time of their life's. It is sure hard, I see you are a Ute fan. Better than the other team from the other place, not Logan but south of SLC. We have had plenty of great support, but at the same time is still hard. :redgenesis1:
