Not new to Weber or BBQ, I’ve been catering and vending BBQ for quite a few years, as well as organizing an annual BBQ competition for 7 years. I also costar on a BBQ themed TV show on EastlinkTV. I’m in the process of restoring a 2005 Summit Platinum D6. Finding a wealth of information on the forums, very glad to be here.

An update on the Rescued 2005 Summit Platinum D6, I completely dismantled the grill, I had to fabricate pieces for the cookbox, reassembled it, I received a new lid from Weber, I will eventually need new flavorizers, but it’s a big solid grill!
