Hi everyone,

I'm Kati. My hubby and I have been trying to decide on a smoker and finally decided on to the WSM. We didn't know if we wanted the 18.5 or the 22.5 but our little local hardware store is a Weber dealer and has the 22.5 for $375 currently so we are going to pick it up today! I've never smoked a thing in my life so this will be a big learning experience for me filled with a million questions for everyone!

Welcome Kati. Best advice I can give is don't over think things and don't get hung up on chasing temps. Humans having been smoking meat since we lived in caves so it really shouldn't be as difficult as some of us make it.
