Hello my name is Dale and I have a new addiction. I had been watching a friend of mine smoke for years and was always very interested in it. After reviewing many of the smokers out there and finding this site, I was convinced to get a WSM. One of the smartest moves I had ever made! I got a 18.5" WSM a couple of weeks ago and have been smoking ever since. Tried chicken breasts 1st and they were fantastic. Next night tried chicken quarters. Again fantastic. Finally did ribs and a couple of butts this past weekend, had some friends and family over, and got nothing but rave reviews. This smoker, combined with the recipes and information on this site are amazing. Thanks to everyone who has posted.

Welcome! I'm originally from Up-North (Northwoods) WI, but currently reside in the rat-race they call NoVA.
Smoking and grilling keeps my sanity! Saw where you bought 400 pounds of KBB - yup, you're hooked. :)
