Hi everyone! I am excited to have found this resource. I just got a used WSM 18.5”, and it will be my first smoker. I just gave it a good cleaning, and am hoping to do my first cook next weekend.

I live near Boulder, Colorado, and am psyched to enjoy the smoker this summer.
 
Welcome Jared! My 18” WSM is my favorite smoker. I think you’ll enjoy yours - just beware it can be an addictive hobby 😊👍🏼
 
Jared, glad you joined us and welcome from KC. I'm excited for you. I remember getting a 18" WSM for Father's Day back........I don't remember when. But it was a great day indeed!

Interesting. For me, last summer was the 18 WSM -- as my new Covid hobby.

And I'm looking to make this summer the outdoor pizza oven. Still working through if I want to go gas vs. wood pellets.
