Here is the new project I got for free off Marketplace.Just finished restoring this 900. Just picked up 3000 lp xp redhead for free. The panel is a little faded, wondering if there’s a way to polish to restore the shine?
Thanks, Joan!Hi Matt, WELCOME!!!!!!
Sorry, I don't know a thing about these grills, but if you ever need a recipe for something to cook on them, just let me know.![]()
Thanks, will do that. Got myself into a fun little hobby hereWelcome to the forum! Nice looking old Genesis! There are some experts on the forum that would likely provide some restoration advice, but they may not see it here in your introductory post. If no one replies, you may want to put a seperate post in the "Gas Grill Department" https://tvwbb.com/forums/weber-gas-grills.91/post-thread
Awesome stuff! I’ll check it out, thanks.Welcome Matt.

Thanks!Dude, that looks awesome. Nice attention to detail too.
Thanks, Charlie. Might end up keeping it. Missing one part. The cover in front of the panel. Can’t find it anywhere. Not really necessary though.Welcome Matt! I actually saw your marketplace ad prior to you joining here and admired it a lot. That’s a great looking grill!
Good luck with the sale!
Charlie
Yes, that’s the one! Maybe I can find a donor somewhere.. also looking for a wooden handle on my 3000 I’m working on. Can only seem to find them solid wood. I could try to make my own, but I’ll try to find a donor first..Are you talking about this panel? Someone else here made one up but I have no idea if it fits your model.
