Ahhhhhh its always good to visit with the pro's.....hope all of you have been well. I am still plugging away with about a grill per week. I mostly focus on real nice middle aged Genesis or the preferred Gen II's for resale. I currently have a Gen II 410 in the barn and have addressed all details and even have it pre sold. I would really like to clean up the prep table end caps and knobs but I have yet to come up with a great method for this. These are the typical sun faded end caps that seem to have absorbed stains into the pours. I have tried steel wool with a few cleaners with no success. In the past for the older Genesis we have sanded the table tops but this is different. My feeling is that the top layer has to be removed or use a cleaner that will go in and pull out the stains like hydrogen peroxide and baking soda mix..........anyway.......please let me know if you guys have figured this out. I dont think we can soak the modern knobs in bleach like we do with the old ones due to chrome and red markings.....
