Have a little faith in Weber........

So I had it in mind to try Jamie’s, (AKA Weber), recipe of the week for Salmon. http://www.weber.com/grillout/recipes/seafood/simple-salmon
This is salmon with a wonderful marinade. The recipe calls for 30 minutes but I gave it 90.
Life was good until I was at the seafood counter. Farm raised Atlantic salmon was $5.99 a pound. Right next to this was COHO. Much more expensive! Do I risk it on a new recipe? Yep! It’s simple and tastes great. What I really like is it doesn’t overwhelm the salmon. Nancy can’t have salmon so I picked up some Tilapia for her. That was hit with EVOO and Penzeys Northwoods Fire, (thanks Mr. Lampe). Nancy made the veggies and rice. Truth be told, it was good. Try this recipe, you’ll like it!

Veggies ready to grill, thanks Nancy!

This was like seeing the first and last scene of a movie but missing all the good stuff in between.

Did the Tilapia ever get together with the veggies and rice?

Do Rolf and Nancy ever find true happiness with the same fish?

Is the farmed salmon always to be left behind for something a little more wild, yet refined, such as Coho or will salmon one day fined it's way to a grill of it's own?

So many unanswered questions. I'm glad I didn't see this post last night before going to bed or I wouldn't have been able to sleep a wink.

Great looking dinner Rolf

Indeed it did, but from a distance.

Never! We don't even agree on beer!

Only on pay days and holidays.

Tune in later for the saga of rib eye vs. chicken. :) Thanks Bob!
