What do you all like to eat on New Years day?

For many, many years we have Pork, Sauerkraut and Dumplings.

To everyone A Happy New year and a safe one. For New Years Day we will be doing a Bourbon Street Rib Eye
steak with veggies (not sure yet what that will be) with roasted potatoes. There will be a couple of nice drinks to round out the evening Maybe times two.

Just another day for us. Trying to clean out frozen leftovers before year end. Had pulled pork enchilada casserole tonight. Will be having a Manhattan with a nice craft Rye from Bend for a nightcap and will likely be in bed by 9 or 10.

For anybody listening in, the Cook's Illustrated Alfredo recipe is dead simple, and a winner. I will never buy it in a jar, or make it from an envelope.

Happy New Year. Dinner is whatever the wife says we're having. This year I thawed a 13 lb. Turkey and it goes on the Smokefire in a couple of hours.

No leftovers today. Smoked a slab of St. Louis ribs with Weber Smokey Mesquite seasoning and Dickey's Original sauce. Put a couple of spuds on the grill and Miriam did fried cabbage with apples and onions.

DH wasn't up to cooking yesterday, so we cleaned out the fridge. We try to label everything that goes in it (leftovers) and I think DH got rid of everything that was over 2 week old. Today we will have our NY day dinner.
