I have a well-worn but still usable Weber firepit that I inherited from my dad. I actually didn't know it was a Weber until recently. Go figure. Anyhoo, I failed to get it into storage last Fall and this Winters ice storms and freezing temps finally did in the wooden handles. I would assume these are the same as the handles used on Weber's grills? It makes sense, but before I buy new ones, I wanted to check. Also, I'm guessing that the newer plastic type handles won't do in this application (I know how hot that lid gets when a fire is going). I found handles here, but I'm not sure I want to spend $60 on new handle assemblies when the only thing worn out is the wooden part.
