No Weber's tonight, tried something different. Cooked on a stove! Anyhow this is good stuff thought you guys would like. One of our favorites.

Garlic, one onion, shrooms, two containers chicken stock, fresh Escarole, two small Russet's cut up, about three cups water, and some of the best sausage you will ever taste. Made by a local Italian Butcher/Deli. Got one sweet with fennel and one hot. Two cans small Cannelli Beans. Oregano, basil and S&P to taste.
The rest in pics, simmered the broth for an a couple of hours before adding the Escarole and the beans, then another hour or two

We'll give you a pass this time :)

I could actually taste that - just for a moment.

I'm trying a couple of recipes off the grills today too (but I pulled out some pulled pork out of my freezer this morning so nobody shoot me): Mushroom veloute' with almonds, and Asparagus with shallots....... I'm in the middle of doing the brakes on my truck and I'm 2 shots & 2 beers in so no guarantees.

Looks delicious Bill. Gotta give those grills a rest once in a while. We have a new double convection oven that I've hardly ever used. My wife puts it to good use though.

Clint... If you put your foot on the brake tonight and the horn honks, you'll know you shouldn't have included the cooking in the days activities!

Bill, that looks great! Barb and I have been giving the grills and smokers a rest. We're trying some low fat and salt recipes and sometimes it's just easier on the stove to get it the way we want it and then adapt it to the grills. Plus it's a lot warmer in the house than outside.

Bill - that food looks soooo good, and pictures are equally great.

Clint - I'm dying over here man, haha! I'm really curious on how the food and/or brakes turned out.
