Grilled Tilapia with Honey Gold Potatoes and Salad

I was pondering what to do about dinner tonight since my wife is
currently in Colorado supporting and cheering on her sister who is competing
in the Wounded Warrior Olympics. Thought for about 2 seconds about just going
out for dinner and then passed on that notion. So decided it would be Tilapia.
My wife doesn’t care too much for fish, except salmon, so I have a bunch of fillets that need to be eaten.

First off some Honey Gold Potatoes sprayed with olive oil and then coated
with Penzeys Adobo seasoning then strung on my fire wire and then onto
the grill with some oak chunks.

Coated the Tilapia fillets with olive oil and then sprinkled with Penzeys Ruth Ann’s
Muskego Ave Chicken and Fish seasoning.

Potatoes were almost done, so added the fillets to the grill. I didn’t go too far
away from the grill as they were only on there about 5 minutes per side and then taken off.
Thin fillets = fast cook.

Plated with homemade salad topped with some marinated asparagus that we picked up at Sam’s Club.

This was a delicious, quick and easy meal. It was also a no brainer, why eat out when
I can enjoy my own grilled cooking

. I was a little hesitant on using oak for the
smoke, but I don’t think it hurt it at all, actually just added a slight smoke flavor to the fish.

Thanks for looking!

Looks GREAT Mike!
My taters for tonight are strung up just like yours

How do you like the Muskego Avenue seasoning?

Looks great Mike!

Amazing how Penzey's went from Lemon Pepper seasoning to Ruth Ann’s
Muskego Ave Chicken and Fish seasoning.

Great looking meal Mike, and well worth staying in for.

So that's what that is? Explains why I didn't see lemon pepper.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments! Mr. L the Muskego is great. This is the second time I used it. I like that you can actually taste the little bit of garlic and lemon in the seasoning.

Nice looking dinner Mike, remember dinner is always better and cheaper at home and so are the drinks. You can do more chillaxin at home than eating out alone. FYI I have relatives in Savannah. Nice area you are in.

Another great cook in your quiver Mike! I never get tired of seeing that square red plate loaded up with tasty vittles!
