I am looking to get new stainless grill grates for Weber Spirit. Also my father in law has. DCS grill that needs some too. Looking to have rcplanebuyer do them. Does anyone have his direct contact info?

Dave, any chance you could PM me his contact info. I would love to hear what he could do for a SS grill grate for the Q grills?
 
If you look closely at a Q you'll see the burner shield is built into the grate. If you go to a straight "wire" type grate you will foul the burner(s) in a bad way. It also relies on those large shield areas to absorb heat and spread it throughout the rest of the grate. So not a good idea
