Grill cleaning brush again

Has anyone used the water soaked pad style cleaning brush? It sounds like it might work but be really nasty to clean the pad later.

I just wet my grill brush and use it on the hot grates. Does much better than using dry and should work with most any pad or brush. As for cleaning, spraying with full strength Simple Green, allowing to sit for a few minutes, and then hosing down works well.

I use a Harbor Freight wire brush (paying attention to avoid any shed bristles), and a putty knife for any really burned-on bits. This combination probably wouldn't be good for the stock, plated grates but my Killa Grilla* grate shows no sign of damage.

*R I P. I should have bought two.

I use a putty knife and welding brush.
I have a 3 sided woven stainless wire brush somewhere that is completely useles.
I just keep an open eye for bristles
Do any of you have any real first hand experience with someone ingesting a bristle?
I heard a guy talk about a neighbor having that issue but he was trying to promote the goofy brush so I don’t trust him.
