Hello, I just came upon this forum and thought I would register as I am a Weber gas and charcoal grill owner and I love to grill.
Between my family and I, we own older Weber gas grills (Genesis Silver, Spirit 500, etc) that we have bought, inherited or found at yard sales that I would like to try to fix and restore as some are deteriorating as we can't afford new Webers and the cheaper grills we have bought have not lasted more than 1 or 2 seasons in the DC metro area (four seasons with snow, rain, falling leaves, and ample humidity).
Look forward to hopefully learning and sharing with others, especially how to go about restoring the older Weber gas grills.
Thanks and take care.
Seth
