Hey all,

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the great info everyone has posted! It's helped immensely. I've got a weber 22inch grill and a WSM 22 (hard to decide, but went for the 22 for the extra space. Absolutely no regrets there!).

Looking forward to chatting!

Cheers,

Clayton

Hey Clayton, WELCOME!!!!!!

I'm sure you will love this place. Soooo much information here. And we do love to chat. Of course I am always willing to chat about recipes 🥰

Welcome Clayton.

What do you enjoy cooking?
Great question! I'm a big fan of smoking pork tenderloin because it's super cheap at Costco and comes out very tasty. Been experimenting a lot more with Ribs on the WSM as well (not using the water pan at all, wrapping the ribs longer etc.), and can't forget brisket :)

How about yourself??

I like lots of things smoked and grilled. Tri Tip reverse sear is probably my best and most consistent.

You mentioned pork loin; here is my favorite way to smoke it. It's an Adam Perry Lang recipe that I highly recommend trying.

Greetings Clayton.
Looking forward to hearing about some of your cooks.

A large portion of our family live in Victoria and that general area.

We are kinda close too.

This looks great! I'll definitely have to give it a try. Thanks for posting!

I really need to revisit pork tenderloins.
They are a great deal price wise and smoke and sear nicely.

I’m with Dan on the reverse seared tri tips.
I’ve heard visiting young kids say “this is good” .
I’ll take that compliment anytime I can 🙂.

Hey Clayton, welcome from the East coast of Canada. Good friendly people here with lots of Knowledge so I hope you enjoy it.

Welcome to the forum! Great to have another BBQ enthusiast from BC. Sounds like you’ve got an awesome setup with the Weber 22-inch and the WSM 22, definitely a solid choice for the extra space. What’s the first thing you grilled or smoked on them?
