John Solak

1/3 lb Bison burgers after the flip, cooking on a Comal

While finishing the burgers indirect, I chopped up a few Hatch Chiles and seasoned them with granulated garlic and cook the for a minute or two on the Comal

Chiles topped the burgers

Provolone cheese added

Plated with some leftover Kale salad and Pasta Fagioli from last nights dinner.

This says it all John! Picture Perfect and really delicious looking!

INCREDIBLE!!! I just love seeing what you put over a burger and under the cheese. Photos, burgers, sides, craycorts, everything is just FANTASTIC!!!

Ohh mY! That is THE burger i have been missing all these years without even knowing it! A must try!

Terrific dinner John!
Where do you get the bison from?

Quite a few places around sell it. I usually get it Vons or Albertsons. I noticed in this months flyer Restaurant Depot has 1/3 lb frozen Bison patties on sale for 6.56/lb. Gonna have to pick me up some. I have been paying $8/10 per lb for it

Its funny how with all the Qing and grilling i do burgers are the thing i do least. But every once in a while i get a craving and nothing beats a great burger. Gonna have to try your version they look tasty!
