Great gloves on sale at Harbor Freight

These gloves are billed as MIG welding gloves. While that is true, I have found them to be excellent for use with a grinder. Soft enough to be pliable yet tough and long-lasting. I found out about these watching a YouTube review of HF winners and losers. The guy raved about these gloves, so I gave them a try. They are my "go to" ones now.

On sale for $16.99. More than just X-Large available:

These are a grilling and welding staple. I'm going to pick up a couple of pair tomorrow...can you link the YT review? Thanks, Jon!

I used to gripe about shipping prices. The closest HF to me is 16 miles away.

Given my sub urban gets about 16 MPG, and the break even price for gas alone would be $3.50 a gallon...

And this doesn't include wear-and-tear blah blah blah...

I think I'll order a backup pair. Thanks !

In Rancho across from KP. New store opened recently. On Folsom Blvd near Sunrise.

And the leather apron? I guess that is for when the Mother-in-law comes over for dinner who always insists your Ribeye is not cooked enough. You can just cut out a corner of the apron and throw that on her plate.
My g/f & I watched a "gent" order prime rib.... extra well done, and be a complete *ss to the restaurant staff. I was about ready to reach down, cut the tongue out of my shoe, hand it over and tell him to chew on this, it'll be have more flavor and be more tender. Only thing we could figure is that he was angling for a free dinner. That wasn't gonna happen, the menu clearly indicated "not responsible for steaks ordered past medium well."

My wife has some overseas relatives like this. Was very upset being told to way overdo a steak for her uncle many years back. Another time, the same uncle's daughter joined us when I served a medium rare roast beef. She ate only the edges and left the rest to be thrown out on her plate.

I think I'm gonna cry (again).
