granette top for weber frame

My neighbor is going to give me a slaB of granette to install on an old genesis 1100 frame. Do you guys think the frame will support that much weight? It would be 18 X 49 inches and 1 inch thick. Weight over 200 pounds at least.

i think it should be ok.

For that size Granite your only at about 100lbs.
1 1/4 " slabs come in at 18lbs a square foot, so you should be fine.
