Got gaskets Now what to do?

HI All Just got my gaskets from BBQ Gaskets for my WSM 22. Gaskets are 1/2 x 1/8 self stick. I know I have to do the door. Do I put the gaskets of the door or the smoker?
My other question is about the center part,where do I put the gasket.
1. On the lid where the top rests?
2. On the out side lid of the center bowl?
3. Both?

I put mine on the door and as close to the latch as I could get. The other gasket goes on the lip of the center body where the lid sits. Clear?

I put mine on the smoker...and REGRET not putting it on the door.

The top of the arch (gasket) protrudes out from the door. IMO, it looks sloppy, not clean looking, not professional.

If you want to get good adhesion for the lid gasket. After you get things all cleaned up use a dermal and a grinding stone to rough up the finish. The rough texture will help the gasket stay in place.
