Got a 14” as a retirement gift

I have an 18” WSM that I bought recently & love it so I jumped at the chance to get a 14” WSM as a retirement gift - plus they didn’t have much else worth a flip that I liked. Cooked a pork butt on the 14” yesterday & it came out wonderful. I definitely need to add casters to the 18” because every single time I pick it up to move it, the silver bottom piece falls off. I need to roll it instead of pick up. Has anyone put casters on their 14”? It’s just so cute. ha 😍

Nice retirement gift!
Did you get the catalog with multiple choices?
We get to choose something every 5 years.
A few years ago, I got a Geneses II.

"It's just so cute" LOL you sound like me with my Smokey Joes. :D

Here is a video on the rolling platforms for WSM.

We do & we DEFINITELY don’t have much to choose from. I’m on google looking for what is the most expensive & the bulk is about $100. The smoker was most expensive out of the things that were of interest to me. I don’t want stuff with the company logo on it but that is just me. Trying to move on from those 32 yr of hell. lol

Great retirement gift. You will enjoy it for years to come. I'm happy for you, Paula.

Just wanted to mention that on mine I cut the castor stems and used acorn nuts which is cleaner looking than the long stem bolts sticking out. Just a tip.
Mike - what did you cut the bolts with? Every time I try cutting a bolt I mess up the threads.

Dremel with the cutting disc. It will lay in a thread to cut clean and usually the nut will catch enough to start but if not a rat tail file will get the thread trued up.
