Good Price 22.5” WSM?


 
I have an 18 I bought used several years ago. It was barely used.
I think some people just have to keep trying different things. But as was said Pellet grills are the "thing" now days and that plays a huge part of people selling them.
Myself I don't think I could ever do better than my 18" WSM. I have a Pitmaster IQ Temp controller. Set it and forget it.
The big box stores around here quit selling WSMs. But there are still plenty on Craigs list.
I like the simplicity of WSMs. Lifes simple pleasures are the best!
 
Fred I think you are spot on re: pellet grills and used WSM availability. People want "set it and forget it" these days. Not a criticism just my observation. Speaking from experience with my grown children they are busy, busy, busy with all kinds of things. Progress has brought us all kinds of new technology. If you can get a good brisket off a pellet pooper controlled by your smart phone, I say go for it. I've got my 22 WSM and I'm happy. No motors, no electronic displays, no power cords. My two cents.
