Good BBQ in Seattle?

I'll be in Seattle next week and only have time for one dinner Monday night. I'll be staying in Issaquah - anyone know any good bbq restaurants? If not, any good inexpensive non-bbq places to consider? I like fish as a backup to bbq, and I know that should broaden my options quite a bit.

EDIT: I'm getting in around 7, so I need a place that is open kind of late.

Im guessing your flying in to Sea-Tac so The Caveman in Kent wouldn't be to out of the way. Its been 20 yrs. since I ate there but very tasty. Open till 9pm.

Pat,
Here is a link to the place that started me loving BBQ, especially brisket. http://www.pigironbbq.net/
It's in South Seattle and excellent. They are not open on Monday night unfortunately. It would be worth a shot when you leave town to stop in there. Try the brisket with their regular sauce. My brother in law swears by a place in Issaquah - Stan's BBQ. I thought it was OK. Here is a link to their page http://www.stansbarbq.com/ Good luck and let us know where you ended up.

Thanks for the replies.

My flight Monday night got delayed 4+ hours, so dinner consisted of an in-flight cheeseburger.

I had an early flight back Tuesday, but I was able to squeeze in a visit to Stan's due to it being less than 5 minutes from my meeting.

Nice enough place, looks like it would be fun to have some beers and watch football. Smelled great when arriving. But it went downhill quickly from there. I only tried the brisket and potato salad. The brisket was sliced very thick and was well overcooked...practically shredded when you touched it. No smoke flavor, no smoke ring, and no rub to speak of. Overall, some of the worst brisket I've eaten. I did give them credit for serving sauce on the side, as I prefer it.

Thanks for the tip, though. Even though I didn't care for it, I like to try bbq in different regions. Makes me appreciate what I can crank out at home
