Gonna Pick this up tomorrow

Sounds like overly nosy neighbors to me. Was like the one here a few years ago. Our friends/neighbors 3 doors away were having a birthday party for IIRC his wife's 70th. They had their kids and grandkids over (like me he's got 2 daughters). Anyway it was during the height of all the "hysteria" around the "pandemic". Our illustrious governor decided to lock the state down and tell people to "report" anyone not paying attention to his mandate. So, when he had his 2 daughters over and their kids/families she saw 2 or 3 extra cars in the driveway. And all the kids playing in the backyard. She was out there snapping pictures of the cars and lic plates, sending them to local police, and trying to shame anyone by posting the photos on to apps like Nextdoor with dire warnings about how she was "reporting" them.
The depths of nosiness.
I respect your opinion, but nosy people are always going to be nosy, so for me it's better to relate to them than have any enmity between us. We can't pick our neighbors and we can't shoot 'em, so best just try to get along with them. Someday our house might really be on fire and they wouldn't call it in because they didn't like me because I was a d**k...just let 'er burn.

No one confronted her. At least not to my knowledge. And there is PIA "nosy" and good neighbor nosy. There is a difference. This lady was PIA nosy. Some might call me nosy, but it's more just being aware of our surroundings. And I am no adverse to letting a neighbor know something suspicious took place. But take photos of their lic plates, post them online and report them to police? There is no way to "appreciate" people like that IMO

Just put the slightly smaller one for $73 in my cart. I had no clue they were that inexpensive and it looks like a great cart. Thanks for pointing it out!

Just a random thought, but I think I may end up placing the grill oriented in the N-S direction on the 36" side and have an open area of about 15x24 in front of the grill to set a serving plate or BBQ tools on, maybe put a silicone mat in front of the grill for easy cleanup.

The other orientation works but seems like wasted space to me.

I measured mine front to back and it measured 16" from front of the front "pads" to the back of the rear "pads". So if I set it on the cart width wise there should be no overhang. I didn't bother measuring it side to side. Maybe I'll do that before I pull the trigger on a cart.

I was going off the official dimensions on the Ninja website. I set the grill on an acrylic ruler and measured across the pads, 18.5" front to rear and 20.5" across the front.

That is really weird. I used a tape measure and got 16". I'll have to double check tomorrow. Tonight was leftovers night, Too freakin cold out to care about it right now :D

There is a projection off the pads in the rear, maybe that's what is throwing things off. I think the design intent there is to counter the weight shift when the lid is opened, especially if it is opened with force.

Yep I measured to the back side of those things. But, I will try again tomorrow when it's a little more "above 0" out there

Maybe a UK problem, but so many people complaining this model trips their RCD before reaching temperature, you can tell it is a problem by the amount of "refurbished" ones NInja Uk sell on Ebay at massively reduced prices to RRP, compared to their other models.
