I like Grilla Gear gauntlet-style gloves, a picture of which are on the BBQ Accessories page. A quick search on Google for "Grilla Gear" will turn up several online sources. Welding gloves from a hardware store or fireplace gloves from a fireplace store will work just fine, too.
I use Eastman Outdoors #38207 Outdoor cooking gloves. Available at amazon.com $29.99. They are great gloves. they are underoutdoor Living> turkey fryers and cookers.use the amazon link from this website.
I agree with Chris on the Grilla Gear! I have been using mine for several years now. Check a local Linens N Things store..that is where I bought mine..they may even be on sale this time of year.
Also look into looking for some dishwashers gloves at a restaurant supply. They will be waterproof and insulated and work great. I have been able to dip my hand in hot oil without ill effects. They have some here:
Home Depot is not selling welders gloves anymore, but they have plenty left depending on the store. I just got a pair for $4. Hmmmm, I think I will go pick up a secong pair.
