Genesis x000 slide out pan alternative

The x000 bottom pans are scarce, and I finally got around to checking an alternate to see how it fits.

This is mostly a Genesis 1000 with some silver B parts. The cookbox is a 1991 13 bar box.

The pan is for a 2011 to 2016 front control natural gas E330.

Weber part number 62757.

You may need to call Weber to order. It's not been listed for a couple of years, but an email to Weber support confirmed it is avail.

Ouch, but if that works, then at least it is a source. I didn't realize they would fit. Great discovery.

@Timothy F. Lewis

here are some more pics. The slightly rusty 1000 pan is upside down on the 330 NG pan.

Width is nearly identical. The 330 pan is about 1/2 inch deeper.

The grill is a Genesis1000 with lots of Silver B trim. The cookbox is from a 1991 Genesis 3.

Front view. no drip assembly installed, but it would be on the left.

View from the back. The pan sticks out a slight amount but it is not really noticeable unless you are looking at it top-down

the 330 pan slid out slightly.

And if anyone doesn't believe this is a 1000, here is an inside pic with 13 bars and the 8006 control panel.

I am not sure, but I think they pan for a NG E300 grill might be different from the Propane version. It might not have the hate shield on the bottom and if so is likely to be less expensive. Or maybe they only make it without the heat shield???

All of the LP E3x0 grills I've seen have the heat shield.

The two NG E330s I've seen do not have the heat shield. The one above in pictures is from an NG E330
The odd thing is the part number is the same for both LP and for NG. Links to the parts diagrams are below

Yah, either would work and really no need for the heat shield on an LP grill. So, if you can get one without it, it might be cheaper. Otherwise, the heat shield won't hurt anything on a LP grill.

I kind of like the reference of Hate shield, spell check is so much fun. Lately, mine has decided to change “So” to “South” which is surely what I wanted to write! And don’t call me Shirley!
