That's the classy porcelain upgrade version from the stock aluminum on at least most Silver A grills. Very nice for a keeper, but pricey for a harder to sell Silver A.I may do that. That link from Samuel is nice, but with shipping it jumps over $40
I’ve got a couple that I consider sacrificial. Found a couple with porcelain ones for the flippers I have.Cody, if you mean a Silver A aluminum drip tray, be sure it is one that you can afford to scrap. They are very thin. I have seen ones full of perforations just from hot grease.
The spirit 500 I have is the same. It’s definitely more stout on the older ones. Our Spirit 700 which we purchased in 1994 still has the original aluminum drip tray on it. Perhaps later trays were less substantial....
I am the same way john. However, this is a request from a previous customer that I sold another grill to, three or four years ago.I basically avoid Silver A grills now altogether for this exact reason. The profit margins just aren’t worth it, really.
