That’s the place for the helpful hardware folks. I bought a box of SS screws for the durawood for my 1000 from my local Ace today (thanks Josh), for $1 more than Amazon. I like giving the small guy the sales when I can.

I do too. Plus when I went in there this morning I just told the guy what I was looking for and he found it for me so I bought more paint there instead of going to Home Depot where I know it was a little cheaper.

Got the bottom of the wire rack painted. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to paint this frame. I have a pretty good system for painting the Genesis 1000 frames but these are different enough that that isn't going to work. I need to figure out a way to paint all four of the short frame extensions at the same time and all the way around.

Pretty close if you don't stare at them too hard I definitely feel like painting them is going to be the new norm on the old faded out wheels. The new white wall makes a difference as well.

No, I have a stash if the current rehab has trashed wheels. But decent ones are getting harder to come by every year. If they white wall or the wheel itself is trashed too bad, I just toss them.

I feel like you could buy new wheels not that long ago?

Yah, I know some people were buying them. I am not sure if that was new old stock or not though.

I tried about a year ago and got sent different wheels than I ordered and sent them back. False Advertisement

I'm picky but new paint and new white walls looks pretty darn good to me!
