Genesis 1000 Porcelain Drip Tray


 
I also have an 807 control panel and matching side burner. The difference between the 806 and the 807 is that the 807 is in English and French. No doubt from French Canadian up north.
 
I got my 2nd drip tray pan from FedEx today.
2 small blemishes but overall, whoever made these, they hit it out of the park.
And for just $50, this is plain and simple remarkable.
Now, if they were $75/100 a pop, then a totally different story.
I'm very satisfied with these 2 I bought, I probably would not buy one for my flipper grills, the profit margin would go way down.

I would have to agree with Steve. Especially since they're both on the front lip that's exposed and shows. On a flip grill you would probably be able to get away with it but not on a keeper. I'm surprised that got shipped out like that. I would be very upset that they shipped it out like that. I'm glad I have plenty of good ones. I definitely won't be ordering one of these. Thank you for showing this Mark. I really appreciate it. I hope you say something to them. This shouldn't be acceptable.

If you don't want to mess with sending it back and you just want to make it work you could always put it in from the back side of the grill so that damaged lip is facing backwards. Not ideal though by any means.

I've decided to send back the drip pan.
I've been in a conversation with the people and explained to them their phone problems or refusal to even answer them.

I was assured that their phones are properly working, yah right 👎
I'm sure this will be worse than having teeth pulled, that's the impression I'm getting, I hope I'm so wrong.

I got to thinkin, this pan shouldn't have even been put into a box for shipping.
Just goes to show the pisspoor quality control nowadays 😡
I'm going to request a full refund, not just a switcheroo.
Like I said, this may take awhile, stay tuned for the adventure 🙃

I would also reach out to your credit card company and dispute the charge. That normally puts a little pucker into the retailer.
 
Mark, I will admit that the second shipment was disappointing. On the other hand, this company is the first one I know of to at least attempt to fill this void.

It is only going to get harder and harder to salvage originals. I am glad I have a stack of them, but none are in superb shape, and they will all need more touching up than that new one you are sending back. That's OK with me as I didn't pay $50-$60 a piece for them. My stash may or may not last for how many grills I do before I hang it up. If I go through them all, though, I might wish I had bought some of these new ones, even if not entirely perfect.
