Free vintage find today

Here in the metropolis of New London, NH, we have a "swap shop" at our transfer station. Today, I found a new, unassembled Coleman 5478-701 gas grill for the taking. From what I can gather, this grill dates to approximately 1982. My step son is making toast and a grilled cheese for his grandfather as I type.

Not a Weber, I know. But fun nonetheless.

His grandfather challenged him to make hot dogs and beans on it this afternoon. So...I taught the kid how to grill a few hot dogs and beans. He had a great time, did a nice job with the dogs and was completely engaged with it (he's a child with ADHD, so anything I can keep him going on is fantastic).

By the end of the afternoon, he was pretty proud of himself. He should be.
