Free Red Head Curb Alert!

Exactly what they both said. I go a little further than that - On all of the factory welds, rusty looking or not, I take a brass brush and just brush them till they are bare and shiny. It isn't totally necessary, but I think it helps prevent future rust just due to the nature of welds and naturally occurring pits in the weld. It takes an extra 5-10 minutes, but it is good piece of mind, in my opinion.

I am working on trading out a blue lid for a red or grey (black mica) lid for a silver A. I am trying to have a Blue SSP, Blue Platinum and a Blue Silver A... if I get the blue lid silver A, I may make an attempt at building an SS frame for it, to match the platinum. *edit* that would be a few years down the road!
Is this one you are looking for Cody?

IDK how I didn't see this til now. But it is beautiful! My local scrap guy has a blue one, that I am going to try and trade him for it. I have red, black and black mica (gray) to trade. I would clean it real nice, and blast and paint the end caps on whichever he would choose. When I say I will do sketchy stuff for a blue lid, I mean it :ROFLMAO:
