Free Red Head Curb Alert!

Yes Steve,
The frame is rough. It will be interesting what remains when I power wash it.
I like that it has the wire rack on the bottom which I prefer.
I like that it came with the stainless-steel tool hooks.
and I love Red Heads!
I have the missing swing out table hardware in my stash. (The brackets and the Rod, but not part that goes on the left frame.)

I know I have an extra one of those from a frame I had to trash last summer if you end up needing it. I like the wire rack too even though it mostly came on the lower models. Plus, less slats to deal with since those are definitely not going to be able to be salvaged.

Thanks Steve,
I will need swing out table hardware, if you could save it for me until I can make arrangements to pay you.

It also looks to have the very first Weber UNCOATED cast iron. Thick and heavy, they are sometimes survivors. Do the grates have this on the bottom?

As long as you have some spare parts, that should be a good rehab candidate.
I have some.
I have that extra set of Gen 1k end caps you sent me (the set that uses the stainless-steel bolts). I was using one set on my Silver B the other I will probably use here.
I have grill out light handle in my stash I could use.
I have some Durawood for the shelves if needed. I got the Durawood from Steve still in my stash that I was going to use on the bottom of my Platinum until I picked up the Silver C wire rack for it. Durwood would be the easier use, but wood does look more presentable.
I still have Skyline condiment rack in my stash. I vetoed using that on my Silver B since I went with the dual swing out tables on it.
I also have the end connector for the right side that Jon sent me that I believe is needed for the condiment rack.

You're going to leave the wire rack in the bottom. That condiment rack will complement it very well. Kind of ties the two together and gives them both cohesiveness. Obviously I'm a wood fanatic and that's my first choice but if you put the bottom wire rack and the condiment rack together that's a really good combination

I know it's the way it's intended to be by Weber but it bothers me a little bit the silver hooks prying up the control panel. Just my preference and I know it's totally wrong but I like them shifted to the left. I put them in before I put the cook box in. It doesn't bother me bad but I don't like to see the control panel being pried up. Screenshot_20250405_175201_Photos.jpg
And on my junior i shift them to the other side. Probably make some people cringe that they're in the wrong spot.

I have often contemplated putting those tool hooks along the firebox but I wondered if they would fry the plastic on my Weber Grill tools.

Good point definitely possible with plastic! I don't think it gets that hot there but maybe it does.
