Here are one of the endcaps you were discussing. I have them. Bruce was kind enough to source them for me.
I have started on them they are just not complete yet. I was trying Josh's way of wire wheeling them.

Found the Spirit Worktable I had in my stash. Its shade tends to favor the Platinum Swing-out Table although it needs the flush Left Black Spirit trim piece to go with it, but I do not have that one anymore.

Need to fix the worktable rise to inside. Found that PO put high-temp rtv dabs under the table for some reason, therefore it is not sitting flush like it should. Maybe he had an issue with them getting knocked off by his dog.
 
This is the Left Black Trim piece I need if I am going to with this setup. I used it with different shelves here, but I was sighting it for reference.

Yep, if you are set on using the SS flip table, then the Spirit side table is a much better match. You could keep your eyes open for the SS inlay tables from Summit grills though that are made with the regular Thermoset.

I will keep a look out for those. I have never come across those. I have only seen them on your grill. I have only seen Platinum Summit's and Platinum Genesis's.
