I bagged my leftover pulled pork in 1lb servings. When re-heating using the boiled bag method, do I really need to thaw first? Second, how long to boil without overcooking - ball park figure.
 
I have done it with the bag frozen. Usually takes me about 10-15min or just keep an eye on it until it has a very soft feel.
 
Just steeping it is best. Boil the water, place the frozen or refrigerated Foodsaver bag in the water, turn off the heat, set aside for 15-20 minutes, remove, cut open and enjoy.
 
I don't know if my bags were 1 pound but I dropped a couple of frozen bags into a pot of cold water, bring to a boil and turned off. I left it set for a few minutes then opened the bags.
 
I have about 10 bags of pulled pork, boil water take off stove and drop in to water?
