Has anyone used the Flavorwood smoke cans? Apparently you just throw the can on the hot coals and the condensed wood pellets inside smoke after a minute or two.
I'm just curious if they produce the same kind of flavor as normal wood chunks.
I've used them yrs ago when Service Merchandise was still in business. They work alright for short smokes but @ about $2.00 a can that is a little spensive IMO.
I use an old spice tin with a hole drilled in the top that is reusable. I have several bags of pellets from herethat I use on quick cooks.
Flavor wise pellets aint bad, but I still prefer to use chunks on long smokes.
