FIVE hour pork steaks

Jim,

I want to come to your house for dinner! Great looking cook!

How well does that type of bug repellant work?

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. sorry for leaving off the e and the reason for all the e's is due to minimum character requirements.

Nice choice of food...nice choice of evening relaxing...of course nice brew (one of my fav's!!!)

Great post Jim!!!

thanks again folks:)

Beautiful pork steaks...I bet they came from Rick's!!
If you need somemore mosquitoe repellent, let me know.
Chuck.
They did Chuck! and I do!

What is this Wickers you speak of Jim?
Kenny, This Is WICKER'S Awesome stuff!

How well does that type of bug repellant work?
Works well enough that they don't bite OR bother you for hours Nick!

... nice brew (one of my fav's!!!)
one of mine also Morgan! Thanks for the turn-on!

Going to have to get one of those repellents, went on our yearly camping trip to yosemite last week and the Mosquitos tore my son up!

Oh and funny enough, while I was out there I found a chuck eye at a grocery store on the way up..Mannnnnn was that a good cut of beef at a great price!

I still have yet to cook some of these delicious pig steaks but want to soon. each and every time I see you cook them it makes me crave them.

Another great pork dinner Jim. I love the thought and care that you put into your cooks. The steaks look great I'll have to try that St. Louis method of smoke, then braise.

feeling jealous here! my first introduction to q was my dad's pork steaks with homemade bbq sauce.

Same with me back in the 1950's, but Dad used Maull's....

You are taking the humble pork steak to a new and higher level my friend!
Not to mention, turnips never looked so good before!

Here's a fun thing to do: Google Jim Lampe pork steak, then click images.

somehow Blake and I made it on the page too.

I clicked on that link, and all I can say is "WOW - heaven on a flat screen!"
