First time using the Maverick on Kettle

I was going to cut notch but ended up putting the cables between the hook hanger which eliminated any crimping on the cables.

I did a turkey meatloaf, turned out nice.

So do you like your new Maverick? I've been thinking about getting one of these. I've never had Turkey Meatloaf, sounds good, how do you make it?

I enjoyed being in the house and know what was happening with the grill and food temp. Turkey meatloaf is pretty good, it's 1# turkey, 1 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 TB Worch. sauce, 1/4 cup onion, 2 eggs and 1/2 can tomato soup. Then topped with 1/2 can soup, 1 TB Worcestershire Sauce and brown sugar mixture.
