First snake: Beef Ribs

Hi everyone! A slab of beef ribs is the order of the day - and my first time using the snake method. KB and apple. The ribs oiled, rubbed with Szeged Steak rub and extra ground pepper.



A couple hours in, I just had to peek



The ribs were on for about 4 1/2 hours. I must have had a kink in the snake, the fire crapped out before the last third was bunt. So, I fired up some more KB in chimney, problem solved. Slathered with Jack Daniels Honey Smokehouse sauce.

They were some tasty ribs. Cindy thought they were over done, oh well ;) Thanks for stoppin' by!
 
Beef ribs look good to me Brian! I've never any but those look pretty dang good. It's funny, I've been reading threads all morning about SM, trying to educate myself, I've never done this method before. I'm doing Tom's flappers. I'll post later! Good looking cook and thanks for sharing!
